Overview As a standalone Project Manager in a respected multidisciplinary consultancy, you will lead building projects from inception through planning, design development, procurement and construction. You will coordinate clients, consultants and contractors to deliver leisure, education and housing schemes across Northern Ireland. The role combines pre-construction and delivery phases, with clear career progression and flexible hybrid working to support work-life balance. Responsibilities - Manage delivery of building projects across sectors from concept to completion
- Act as primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams through project delivery
- Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and reporting
- Manage risks, change control and governance
- Support procurement and contractor appointments
- Chair project meetings and ensure timely action delivery
- Monitor programme, cost and quality objectives
- Support clients in achieving project outcomes from inception to completion
Key requirements - 3–5 years' experience delivering construction or building projects
- Experience in consultancy, contractor or multidisciplinary environments
- Degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Strong understanding of project delivery, procurement and construction processes
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing programmes
- Strong communication and relationship-building
- Proactive and organised approach
- Ability to work independently yet within a team
- Experience with project programmes and budgeting
- Knowledge of procurement and contract administration
- Experience with NEC contracts is advantageous but not essential
